The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) From Ubaidullah Muhammad bin Al-Madani Kannoon to so-and-so, peace be upon you and those who follow the guidance and God’s mercy and blessings. And after that, religion is advice, as in the Sahih, and one of the greatest pieces of advice for you is to warn you against residing in enemy land.
End of the manuscript: We ask Him, Glory be to Him, to grant us success in what is of His greatest and clear satisfaction, and to grant us what He had for His righteous guardians. He is Able to do what He wills and is worthy of the answer. There is no power nor strength except in God, the Most High, the Great (...) until the Day of Judgment.
