The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Ubaidullah Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Saad says (...) As for what follows, this is a book that we have shortened from our large book written on the news of the righteous, and we have restricted it to the four late sheikhs, in order to help those of the eminent Brotherhood and the most eminent jurists in the city of Oran who asked me this.
