The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God for His blessings (...) After that, when God Almighty granted me the seal of this book, I divided it into a volume containing a copy other than this one that came out of my hands to some of the brothers who wanted to do so, and at that time the two distinguished scholars had read it and the rest of the scholars (...) Abu Abdullah Al-Sayyid Muhammad bin Malik Al-Jazairi and Al-Sayyid Muhammad Abu Ras Al-Nasiri, then Al-Rashidi, and each one of them wrote a line on it.
The end of the manuscript: So reward our pure Lord and his father ** the best reward for a scholar among the nations. It is the end of what we intended and what we have of this vow from our sheikh. We benefited from it and benefited it. It was written (...) by the despicable and minor Muhammad Abu Ras bin Al-Nasser (...) in this haste, the effort of the eyeballs, and I added to the barrage of the sheikh (...) and his son Mali from the shadow, drawn at the beginning of Jumada Al-Thani in the year 1227.
