Praise be to God alone and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his family, our righteous son, the honorable and distinguished minister, Mr. Al-Tayeb Al-Muqri, may God bless you with the presence of our Lord, may he live long and ever after. We had informed you of what we wrote to the workers of the Tetouan port regarding the arrest of Al-Abbas Al-Sousi, one of the justices of the happy court, in accordance with what our Lord Al-Mu’tazz Billah had ordered regarding the impartial procedure for him and those like him. The worker replied that he had put him in prison, but that Notable people of the border, honorable and learned men, have written to us explaining his condition as a wife and noblewoman, and hoping to take the man’s hand in honoring him by releasing him and him, so he loved her. May God grant you the right to seek the generous mercy of our Lord in accepting the intercession of all for the man so that he may go on his way. May God bless the honorable age of our Lord, perpetuate his pride and exaltation, and help him, may God bless him in that, so he hastened the answer for us so that we may walk according to it. And upon you, the purest of peace. 25 Hajj 1329 Muhammad Al-Muqri, may God grant him success
