Praise be to God alone. And may God’s prayers be upon Muhammad, the most glorious leader of the most happiest Pasha, Sidi Idris al-Sarraj. May God protect you, take care of you, and help you in what has befallen you. May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God Almighty be upon you for the best of our Lord, may God support him and grant him victory. And then know, sir, that since we took over the sheikha, nothing has remained on us from the tithes of our master, may God grant him victory, except eight supplies of wheat from the tenths of the previous year, connected to the divisions, and here is the card of the secretary in our hands every year, even if it is something in the state. Other than us, sir, he is searching for it. May God bless you and peace for us on the 16th of Rabi’ al-Thani in the year two hundred and eighty and a thousand.
