Then learn, may God protect you, the condition of the good marabouts, my lord Mahdi Ibn Attia, and the chivalry and religion he is in. And my lord the aforementioned Mahdi, they made it difficult for him to pay to the extent that after the death of their father they took more than a thousand mithqals from him, and of these six he worked with me in a lake in which he sold the furniture of his house and lost money in it, and he had nothing to pay, so I love you, God loves you, if you spoke to them about making him the interpretation that they did with Hajj Abdul Salam, and his shame has stood before us because he is one of the most worthy of our love, and our shame and your shame are the same.
