The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) He said (...) Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ismail Al-Andalusi, known as Al-Ra’i (...) Praise be to God who favored the Arabic language and made it the most eloquent of tongues (...) As for what follows, some of the virtuous companions and brothers (...) asked me to solve the terms of Al-Jarumiyya in explaining the words with little pronunciation (...) and I called it Al-Muqawfiyya in explaining Al-Jarumiyya’s words.
The end of the manuscript: If there is a pronoun, but if it is an object and its subject is not named, then the pronoun in their saying is an adjunct that refers to the first and to it refers to the second, and the speech in Zayd’s estimation was an adjunct to the word and the like, and God Almighty knows best. The title formula appeared at the beginning of the manuscript, “The Detainee with Conceptualism,” but the Tunisian researcher Muhammad Abu Al-Ajfan, in his opening study of the shepherd’s book called “The Victory of the Poor, the Traveler,” gave the following title, “The Independent with Conceptualism in Explanation of the Words of Jurumiyyah,” based on a copy at the National Book House in Tunisia, No. 7364, collected.
