The beginning of the manuscript: introducing the author of these two articles. Thank God. The author of this book is Imam Al-Qadi Ibn Abi Hatim Al-Amili (...). He compiled a good literary book in prison and called it Collected Al-Maqal fi Al-Aqit (...). It is said in lectures and during debates that a Bedouin king, Al-Najjar, became king, but he was not from his home and moved away from his neighborhood other than due to his death.
End of the manuscript: We concluded the article upon the conclusion of the arrest, and the completion of this collection occurred after the first Friday prayer that I prayed after setting off, which was the fourteenth day of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the year eight hundred and five in New Fez........And our last supplication is that praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
