Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his family, our dearest earthly lover, the long-term seeker, the most well-pleased Mr. Idris al-Sarraj. May God protect you, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. Then you will receive a companion carrying a scroll with your name and your kingship written on it with a stamp on it. We would like you to present it to our brother with his letter that has reached you. May God reward you with goodness and bless you. We would like you to have the answer from him and address this to me, even if he holds it. The student, Mr. Muhammad bin Abd al-Wahhab al-Zammouri, addressed to you the letter of our noble Lord regarding the blessed guardianship of the Zarahna, and we wrote to you regarding it due to what he knew of the love that exists between us and you, so we helped him, knowing that you treat each one in a way that suits him, and we ask God to grant you and you the right eye, Amen, and with love and peace on the 3rd of Ramadan in the year 1278 Abd al-Qadir bin Abd al-Rahman al-Fasi, may God be with him.
