Praise be to God, the superintendent of Al-Qarawiyyin and all the other mosques and schools at that time, namely the two earthly masters, Mr. Al-Mufaddal, son of the late Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, and Mr. Hajj Ahmed, the late Hajj Al-Arabi Al-Sharat, acquired from the master holder, Sidi Muhammad, the late Mr. Faddoul Bennis, through his brother, the master holder, all thirty riyals of a thousand, and that was from saving what he received for them from the beneficiary of the prisons, in full possession of inspection, and they cleared him of the aforementioned seizure, so he was acquitted. He recognized them and erected them on the twenty-first of Qa’dah Haram in the year 1314
