Praise be to God alone, our lover, the earthly and most uplifting jurist, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. As for the donkeys who recruit camels to carry the goods to the merchants, we have heard that they come carrying the goods on the camels to the west of the city, like lodgers running around in them, and they leave the goods there and are known to be bad. They do not enter the city with it, and we are for the city, and we informed you of what we heard, and with love and peace, and on the 25th of Shaban in the year 1284, the summer of the Most High. By God, my relief, praise be to God, and peace be upon you, and may you have mercy on the goodness of our Lord, may God support him. And what you have heard about the two camels above is true. And here we are, the company of Ibn Ahmad al-Hammal, has directed the company of Ibn Ahmad al-Hammal to the guesthouses referred to, and before him he has directed someone to join her for that place. Strengthen the arm. With love and peace, Idris al-Sarraj, praise be to God and upon our earthly lover and jurist, the most precious life. Peace be upon the best of our Lord, the Imam, may God grant him victory. And after, our Lord the Caliph, may God protect him, wrote. For the pimp of Shararda has emerged by directing thirty-four camels for hire to carry the prisoners of Rahmanah. And for love and peace, may God grant me high status.
