Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings be upon our Master Muhammad and his family, our dearest earthly lover, the writer, the jurist, Sayyid Muhammad ibn Talib al-Sarraj al-Andalusi, may God protect you, and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord Al-Mansour, by God, and after he received your kind letter and congratulated us in it on the arrival of the happy Eid al-Fitr, saying goodbye to what we hope will be accepted there, the Lord, for continued joys and more delights and happiness, and may you live a happy life, for example. People like him are in good health and contentment, and here are the best wishes from our master, father and dear brother, and they received them in the utmost respect and in love and peace. He was consecrated on the 3rd of Shawwal Al-Abrak in the year 1360.
