The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Our Sheikh, the Sheikh of Islam and the Muslims, the seal of the mujtahids, the imam of the eminent imams, Abu al-Khair, the sun of law and religion, Muhammad ibn al-Jazari al-Shafi’i, may God bestow his best diligence and guidance on all Muslims: Say, “Praise be to God who alone exalts and glorifies Him, and ask for His help and supplication.” The poem is from the second Bahr al-Taweel, and the rhyme is an illiterate, abstract, absolute form of derivation.
End of manuscript: Reunite me and forgive my sins. Blessings be upon your chosen Messenger from among the creatures (...) The book ended with the help of God, King Al-Wahhab.
