Notes Praise be to God, our beloved, the eminent jurist, the leader, Mr. Muhammad ibn Talib, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. After he directed to us a quarter of a quintal of wax, which is eight per pound, and hastened it for us, then it will reach you twenty-five ounces, which is the wage from the Magdalen of the Two Belts, which came out yesterday and the one before it. Peace be upon you, 12 Rabi’ al-Thani in the year 1274, the trustees of Al-Sair, may God grant them success.
