Know that the people of the citadel did not accept the guardianship of Sheikh Al-Arabi Al-Talghazi over them, and they never intended to seize him even if they left their country, because the Mudshar of the Arab and the Mudshar of the people of the Citadel were liberated for each other, and some of their olives were mixed. And their enemies, and between them there was long-standing hatred and enmity, and perhaps if he was appointed over them against his will, fighting would break out between them, especially if he sought to arrest one of them in the market or elsewhere, and when they heard his authority over them, they all rose up and went to the Idrisiya corner with the intention of respect, so we met them on the way and returned them, and here they are, respecting my master, complete the speech, and whoever tells you to ask for it is pure lies and slander, even if one person carries it, and here we are, we told you. To be on the mind of a guardian who hates, and perhaps they wanted, and their elders among them, may God bless you and for the love of our master and peace.
