Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings be upon our master and master Muhammad and his family, our love, the leader, the happiest jurist, the most learned scholar, Sidi Idris al-Sarraj. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the best of our master, may God grant him victory. After all, Alal bin Al-Arabi, whom I arrested with Benasser, Mareeqa, and his brother-in-law from the day of his arrest, and my sister and my sister Zaika are with me in his house day and night, and I was ashamed to write to you about him, and because Benasser and his son-in-law were discharged while he was still alive, we love you. God and His Messenger love you that you find Ali discharged with your book by Hajj Hadd bin Al-Ayyashi, just as you discharge the followers of his mission, all of whom are honorable for us. May God bless you and your children and for your service, love, perpetual peace and peace on the 4th of Shaban Al-Abarak in the year 1284.
