Praise be to God alone. May God’s prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family and companions, our master and beloved, the honorable and last earthly Mortada, Sidi Muhammad bin Sidi Al-Mamoun Al-Alawi. Peace be upon you, may God have mercy on you, with the presence of our master, may God grant him victory. And after that, your aunt Lamina bint Al-Mu’ti Al-Tadalawi greets you, your children, and all the honorable people without exception, and says to you, if there is goodness between us and you, and you look after our face, and the first love between us is to stand with us when The worker, Sidi Idris al-Sarraj, the governor of Fez, until he sends a letter to Mr. Abd al-Rahim al-Daghughi al-Waradi, for he has cut me and beaten me to the teeth until they knocked out two teeth, one from the top and the other from the bottom.
