Notes
Praise be to God alone. May the peace and blessings of God be upon our master Muhammad and his family, our beloved jurist, the most honorable, the best president in exaltation, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj. May God protect you, may God’s peace be upon you, and may God’s mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord Al-Mansour, by God. And after the seven students of the school who were engaged in corruption in that Noble Sanctuary, I wrote to your successor Al-Qaid Ali Al-Mazkiti to arrest them, your beloved, for God’s sake, in two of them. We were arrested and he took refuge in the Sanctuary, and when they stayed for a long time They fled, and it did not appear to them after the Caliph (Bitar) wrote to us that none of those related to us in demobilizing the righteous were arrested, and they mentioned to us how much they had multiplied. They asked for intercessions from those with destinies, and they escaped from the honorable, and they pledged not to release them from prison until they gave a guarantor that he would not inhabit the Idrisah corner as long as he lived. Here is the guarantee fee. It will come to you. May God bless you for us and help you in the honorable service of the Mawlawi, and in love and peace, and on the 7th of Shawwal Al-Abarak. In the year 1284, Ibrahim bin Ahmed, may God be kind to him, Amen. Praise be to God, our beloved jurist, the best scholar, Sir Muhammad Al-Saffar. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. Then the captain, Sir Ibrahim Al-Shimi, wrote this book for us regarding the students of Al-Zawiya School, and the face of the drawing that appeared. May God name it with the content of all and consideration of his honorable glory. May God support him and with love and peace. Idris Al-Sarraj. Praise be to God alone, and peace be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, his support. And after we have finished. Our Master fulfills the request of the above students and the intercession of Captain Sidi Ibrahim Al-Shimi on their behalf, and giving those arrested among them a guarantee that they will leave the corner. Our Master, may God help him, helped him to release them and leave it as they had committed to him, because what was intended was that harm would be caused and he would kindle strife around that illuminated shrine, so he released them on the aforementioned condition and on love and peace on Shawwal 13, 1285.
