Notes An explanation of what is in the hands of the two wives of the two guardians, Al-Sadid and Al-Shalih, of the pairs of our Lord the Caliph, may God honor him, and he estimated the seed of each one of the types of wood and recorded it in the middle of Jumada 2 in the year 1270 in the hand of Sayyid Hamdoun Al-Shadid, 14 pairs of which 6 were in a forged hand and eight in the gardens of my master in Nasr. On them, he planted a large wasq of barley... 13 and sowed on it thirteen wasqas of wheat and twenty 30 mudds. In the Qal and in the hand of Alal Al-Shalih, 24 pairs, of which 10 are in the Noble Hujra, and some of them are in the Sheikh’s Spring and the Bard Spring, and two and a half waterings of barley were planted on them, and in the Sheikh’s Spring there are five wasqs.....04 and in the Noble Room the same...04 of all the barley 30 12. And wheat sown in the Noble Hujra is an Osoq...10 and from it in the Bard Spring is an Osoq…….04 and from it in the Sheikh’s Spring is an Osoq…….10. Beans 20..02 and with the Sheikh’s eye from it...3 and from lentils in the two places 20...... tied at the end of Jamdi 2
