Notes Praise be to God alone                     and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master and Lord Muhammad, his family and companions, and peace be upon our beloved, dearest and earthly jurist, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj. May God protect you and your security, and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the best of our master, may God support him. Then the bearer, Al-Hajj Al-Arabi bin Al-Hajj Muhammad bin Al-Hajj Al-Habib Al-Fahami, responded to us and mentioned that his aforementioned father was arrested by the jurist Al-Randi and asked us to write to you to be in his case with Ould Shalal Ali as he requested. We would like to inform you that the aforementioned jurist did not review his case with those mentioned and did not understand it, and he became concerned and he wanted you to be of good help to him so that he may take judgment with his opponent before the jurist, judge Moulay Muhammad, or before other judges, and to act according to what the Sharia has ruled for him or against him. We responded to him for what he mentioned, because of what we know of his steadfastness and fairness, so pay attention to this case of his. May God keep you safe, and peace be upon the 30th of Shawwal in the year 1286.      Salman, may God grant him success
