The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Qasim bin Ahmed bin Yamoun said (...). Praise be to God who made marriage one of the greatest reasons for holding fast (...) As for what follows, since I had drawn up brief systems for myself, especially with regard to husbands and marriage, I now wanted, God Almighty willing, to place a restriction on it (...) and I called it the organized jewels in explaining the system.
The end of the manuscript: With your satisfaction, your success, and your protection, until you take us to you (...) and there is no power nor strength except in God, the Most High, the Great. The completion of his position was the morning of Tuesday, the last day of the month of God, Dhul-Hijjah, in the year one thousand seventy. It ended with praise to God (...) Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
