| Notes | Praise be to God alone, the earthly jurist, the Muhtasib Al-Ahdā, my favorite sir, Al-Siraj, may God grant you success and may God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you. The bearer of the letter is a weak, sick, suffering man with children. He asks you to please give him what God has forbidden to you. The tax collector may use it to take care of his family. May God reward you with the best reward and meet you with His pardon in both worlds. He is the Hearer, the Answerer. Peace be upon you. |
