Notes The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God who has placed in the sky constellations and a shining moon (...) And then, part of the care of our Master, the Imam and protector of Islam, in matters of religion is his mastery of it, that is, the empowerment of the command of the servant in his honorable position, shaded by his noble shade (...) Muhammad Al-Saeed bin Abdul Qadir Al-Fassi to establish the clear, rather Yemeni, tables in the science of timing with the evidence called the Majana and the Astrolabe, and where he did that and his horoscope, may God support him and know what is there, he ordered him, may God help him to Arabize it. To facilitate its interpretation for the user and to be a reason for bringing it closer, I complied with his command, may God grant him victory, and I hastened to what God Almighty explained his heart to, seeking help from God Almighty. The end of the manuscript: It occurred in our time in the year of Shaqant, and it will occur, God willing, in the year 1178. We subtracted a fraction, leaving seventeen like this 17, and we increased it by a quarter (...) We started with seven from Sunday and it stands for Saturday, and in it there will be an enlightening and unambiguous entry, and based on this, all the years will be divided. May God benefit our Lord the Imam and place him in the balance of good deeds for the sake of our master and our Prophet and our Lord Muhammad, peace be upon him, and there is no power or strength except By God Almighty.
