The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) This is Al-Waqadiya’s method in composition and prose. From what was found in the handwriting of his scribe, Sidi Muhammad bin Ali Al-Dhahabi, he wrote to his friend Sidi Abdel-Wahab Al-Fassi, may God Almighty have mercy on them both with his benevolence and generosity, saying, after praising God from (...) Sidi Al-Wahhab Al-Fassi, may the peace, mercy, and blessings of God Almighty be upon you. And after that, the servant, for what benefit I granted to you and to you, you conveyed with taste and tested *** her work, and it passed among others.
The end of the manuscript: There is also a strange redemption on the flower *** So be happy about it, O Dhu Al-Najib. Try this for someone who has searched for it *** and what else he has of absurdity. So we ask God to achieve what we want *** and to renew for us what is serious about it. For the sake of the master of all worlds *** Muhammad is the one of honor, the guide, the intercessor. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who granted relief *** so he was relieved from blocking anything other than embarrassment with it.
