Praise be to God alone, our master, the most glorious jurist, the leader, Al-Asaad, the Pasha, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj, may God protect you, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the best of our Lord, may God bless him and grant him victory. And after that, we have received your letter regarding the students of the school in the zawiya, carrying what was attributed to them in the sacrifice, the Tamrani in charge of the zawiya, the most honorable and jurist of the school, and you ordered the person in charge of what you ordered Tamra to do. The honorable ones mentioned that what the students take from that when the sacrifices are multiplied willingly is not required of them. Because they have the backs of the old skins in their hands, God has limited their souls by designating them for that. If you want to see what was mentioned, write to the honorable jurist, Moulay Ibrahim, with an olive broom, and he will direct the backs to you until he finds out the truth of the calamity verbally. Peace be upon you, and on the 29th of Qa’dah al-Haram, 1284, your successor in Hajj, Hadd bin Al-Ayyashi, may God grant him peace.
