Sidi Abd al-Ghaffar bin Yusuf al-Falhawi, the (empty in the original) al-Hawzi al-Marrakshi (...) Praise be to God for what he inspired of the truth (...) And then, when the compositions of the appointed guide were extremely perfect, and all created beings (sic: creatures) in every place benefited from him (...) however, they did not hesitate to solve his words with grammatical analysis, nor did they stick to clarifying his problems. For some reason, some of those who wished to verify his statement asked me in a way that builds on the foundation of his structure. The end of the manuscript: O God, bless the noble guide, and may God’s blessings be upon the best of mankind, his family, and his companions. Our last supplication is that praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, at the hand of its writer (...) Abd al-Salam bin Abd al-Salam bin Ahmad bin Ibrahim al-Zawaqi, then al-Waqari, the honorable lineage of al-Junni, origin and home (…) and the completion of it was on Wednesday, the sacrifice of the twelfth of Dhul-Qa’dah in the year 1351.
