Praise be to God, the wages of 92 builders, a service of 4/80, carpenters 134, with a learner, two scribes 2, and a drain 28. Of that, what was opposite it was combined.......... 336 to which is added the price of fifteen loads of ramla, all for repairing the wall of the Quran retreat, with the repair of the entire goat above from the sair above, which is in addition to the price of the ramla above, amounting to thirty-three mithqals and six ounces. It was brought out by the two eminent overseers, Mr. Hajj Ahmed. Al-Sharaat and Sidi Muhammad Al-Mufaddal Al-Sarraj, who are in charge of this, are in charge of the Qarawiyyin for a period of time, so that they may give it into the hands of the person responsible for it, Sidi Muhammad bin Al-Habib Al-Balghami, and place it, along with the price of the Ramla above, in their diary from the sum of the confinement deeds according to the honorable command, God named it on the 4th of Rabi’ an-Nabawi in the year 1316.
