Notes
Praise be to God alone May God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his family. May God protect the position of the honorable jurist, Al-Basha Al-Asad, Sir Idris Al-Sarraj. May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God Almighty be upon you. Concerning the goodness of our Master, may God support him and grant him victory. And after, sir, we inform you of the matter of the people of Al-Aasah. We informed them about the matter of tenths of oil. We did not find any delay with them in that matter, nor did we interfere with their affairs, nor did you know about their increase. Nor for a deficiency, nor for the ditches with water. They sold the duty in its place, and you do not find a reasonable plot with them. The rulings are based on analysis and desire as it is in the eyes of your companions. You, sir, ordered us to seize them, and there was no control. They made anyone relax, and Hajj Idris did not take long to delve into their matter. You did not find any reason from him or among them. By God, sir, speech is one thing and silence is better. I, sir, do not address you according to the mood. May God bless you and peace be upon your successor, Mr. Al-Tahami bin Abdullah Al-Sakhrti, his security. May God grant him success, Amen
