Notes	The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, an accounting entry created by the Superintendent of the Qarawiyyin Endowments and other mosques for the trustworthy merchant Haj Abd al-Qadir ibn al-Tajir al-Hajj al-Mahdi Bennani, with the student clerk al-Murabit Sidi Muhammad ibn al-Murabit al-Khair Sidi Abd al-Rahman al-Fassi for what he obtained for al-Qarawiyyin in six months, the last of which was the end of Jumada al-Thani 1268. The end of the manuscript: Al-Mutagmal (...) with the graduation of Sidi Muhammad Al-Fassi for Al-Qarawiyyin in six months, the last of which is Jumada Al-Thani, and the assignments are connected to the month of its date by calculating 2232 every month at the end of Rajab Al-Farawiyyin in the year 1288 (...)
