Notes
Praise be to God, his two martyrs, may God grant them peace, stood before the eyes of Sayyid Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Ahmad al-Hawzi, who lived during his time in Madshar Sidi Musa ibn Ali. May God benefit him. He lay on his bed in his house, in pain, and his needs were stained with blood. He revealed the horn of his left eyebrow, and he was struck with it, splitting the skin, pouring out blood amounting to half an inch, but half an inch wide, and that is something that a person does not often do to himself. He was asked about the reason for it and who did that to him, and his two witnesses testified that he met Ahmed. Ibn Al-Hajj Muhammad Ibn Al-Hajj Al-Jilani, of the lineage of the guardian, near Taraz Mawj with the aforementioned mudshar, and he asked him for half of what he could use, so the aforementioned Ahmad cursed him for that, and he struck him with the aforementioned blow, so he was quarantined in the aforementioned place on the face of injustice and transgression that necessitates the beating, not another place in which there is no driving. The two witnesses testified that if God decreed his death due to the aforementioned blow, it was said that he was found innocent of it, then he is the one who takes responsibility for it and the one who benefits from it, since that was in the manner that required him to be bound to the beggar, knowing his fate. In his described condition, he is of sound mind, of sound mind, of understanding, of voluntariness, and of permissibility. He met him on the seventeenth of Rabi’ al-Thani, four hundred and eighty-four hundred thousand. Al-Musawi, may God grant him success. Praise be to God, the acquittal of Sayyid Muhammad bin Ahmad al-Hawzi, who now lives in Madshar Sidi Musa bin Ali. May God benefit him. Amin Ahmad bin al-Hajj al-Jalali. The aforementioned guardian attributed from the suit in which they claimed against him that he had injured him in a single wound near his eyebrow, and from all the demands and all the consequences, he will not return. To the extent that the aforementioned wound leads to death and other than that, it is an absolution that is not absolute and general, coming to every claim and concluding every argument and continuing it. He knew its record and witnessed it against him in a state as it was in it and he knew it. We understood it in 6 Jumada al-Thani in the year eighty-four and a thousand slaves, a quarter of the Most High.
