Notes
Praise be to God and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master and Master Muhammad and his family and companions, our love, the earthly leader and scholar, the learned scholar Al-Murtaza Sidi Idris, peace and mercy of God be upon you, for the best of our Master, may God grant him victory. And then, may it be in the generosity of your knowledge, for your good successor, Mr. Hajj Belkacem, when he was in our place for the sake of the olive harvest, the sheikhs and groups attended and testified against themselves that the olive guards and Ya’la caught such-and-such, and from Souss giving such-and-such, we caught people stealing. In the olives, from the brothers of Sheikh Al-Madi, time after time, and we summoned them to your presence, and the Sheikh Al-Makki said, “Let us suffice for you.” And they did not pray for anyone. They did not confine themselves to people’s belongings, and now my sisters did not pray for anyone. And the brothers of Sheikh Al-Makki and Uhud. Ibn Ubaid Al-Rashidi launched strife in the olive trees of the people, and we were lost. We bought the olives of the prison, and they were separated in purpose, and these people lost us, and now here we are, summoning them to your happy presence. We would very much like you to please send them your companions so that they can solve the hernia for us. We and Alfi love our master and peace on the 16th of the Eighty-Nine and Eighty-Nine and One Thousand Sheikh Al-Tayeb Al-Qulayi. May God grant success to everyone to what pleases Him.
