Notes
Praise be to God alone and may God’s prayers and peace be upon our Master Muhammad, our earthly lover and servant of our Master Al-Murtada Al-Qaid Farji, may God grant you success and care, and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you for the goodness of our Master, may God grant him victory. As for what follows, the people of the Dhimma responded to us on the justification for returning the stamp because it passed from year to year and is dated with the entry of the year. Here we directed it in the company of Lieutenant Colonel Yumdin Al-Askari and with him thirty oqiyah on the base. May God bless you and your love and peace on the 13th of Muharram Al-Haram. Conqueror of the year 1281 Caliph Hajj Ahmed Aziz, may God grant him success. Praise be to God, our beloved earthly jurist, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. We love you. You commission the secretary in charge of the goldsmiths’ stamp to repeat the date referred to about it. May God bless you and us with love and peace on the 16th of Muharram in the year 1281. May God grant you relief.
