Praise be to God alone. Mr. Al-Arabi bin Issa Al-Sharibi appointed the student, Mr. Al-Tahami bin Ali Al-Daqiq (amputee), Bani, to act on his behalf in returning to him Muhammad, who had fled to him with Abd al-Salam bin Ahmed al-Ward al-Qasharni, by authorizing him to imprison him wherever he found him. He had the right to return, and to what was presented to him in words and deeds, and to emulate him, and to quarrel, and to acknowledge and deny, with a full affirmation. He knew his destiny and testified against him in full, and he recognized it on the eighth of Shawwal al-Abrak in the year eighty. Mayten and a thousand servants of his Lord, Muhammad bin Al-Arabi Al-Shami, may God be gracious to him, Amen
