Praise be to God, the twenty-nine members of the group of trenchers whose names are mentioned in Tora Yamantah bear witness that they presented the Caliph Ham bin Abd al-Salam Abd al-Haqq al-Yasrawi al-Zarhuni al-Asawi, called Belaid, as their sheikh to look after them in collecting their affairs and all their affairs and conditions, which presented themselves to them in their disputes and were forced upon him by their attempt to become an ancient, complete, absolute, and general person. They committed themselves to obeying and submitting to him, and they were quick to rule over them, trusting them in his honesty and goodness. Look and sufficiency, the presence of the aforementioned Caliph, and before that, he paved the way and committed himself to his standing with his utmost effort, and to him is the one appointed for what he imitated. They knew his worth and bore witness to him in full, and he recognized them in the ten days of Dhu al-Qa’dah al-Haram, seventy-nine in one month, two hundred and a thousand. Abd Rabbuh Almighty. Among them, Hajj al-Tayyib bin Qasim al-Khandaqi al-Zarhuni and his four brothers, Mr. Muhammad, al-Arabi, Abd al-Salam, and Muhammad, and from them was Qaddur bin Issa by lineage, and Mr. Muhammad bin Omar, and the countryman called Abu Gharb, and his brother. Alal, Ahmed bin Muhammad, the lineage is called Qaloush, the student, Mr. Ahmed Abqarawi, Idris bin Abdullah al-Zarai, called Al-Mousa, Mr. Muhammad bin Ahmed, called Boujoura, Mr. Muhammad ibn Ahmed bin Omar, the lineage, and his brother Idris, Abd al-Hammar bin Ahmed al-Nasb, Qaddour and his brother Abdullah, al-Arabi ibn Ahmed al-Marnsi, Abdullah bin Bozian, Abdullah Bozian, Abd al-Salam bin Bozian, Abd al-Salam bin al-Rifi al-Wolchiki, and his son Ahmed, Muhammad, and his brother al-Sayyid Muhammad. And his nephews, Mr. Muhammad and Ali bin Abd al-Khanduqi, Mr. Abd al-Fadil al-Ghumari, Mr. Muhammad bin Qulsh, Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Khari al-Amari, and Muhammad bin Muhammad al-Rifi al-Muziyani, the teacher Muhammad ibn Muhammad called Bouchfra. Praise be to God, the six men mentioned in Tora remained in his right hand at the time of testimony around him. They have now come to bury his martyr and testify that they accepted the mandate of the aforementioned Sheikh Lahm Belaid around him and that he was an intermediary between them and the pasha al-Assaad, Si Idris al-Sarraj. Both asked him to reward him for his good conduct with them. He paid his attention to them by the testimonies of what they knew and what he knew and in history around him are the slaves of his Lord, the Almighty, Ahmed bin Lahsan bin Abd al-Aali al-Khanduqi, Si Muhammad bin al-Arabi al-Marnisi, lineage, Hamoush al-Rifi, lineage, Abdul Salam bin Ahmed al-Jarfti, lineage, son of Abd al-Salam al-Rifi, Lushki al-Hashimi, son of Qasim bin Issa, lineage.
