Praise be to God, our eminent master and jurist, Sidi Muhammad ibn Talib, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you with the presence of our Lord, may God grant him victory. Know that our master, may God bless him, blessed the daughter of the jurist, the scholar, Sidi al-Tayyib ibn Karan, with clothing worth twenty-five mithqals, and I gave it to her at the end of Shawwal in the year 71, so that she might be on his mind and on love and peace on the first of Safar in the year 74 Muhammad ibn al-Madani Bennis, may God be gracious to him.
