The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Praise be to God who made mentioning it the number of the Fortress of the Fortress (...) And since the book of the Fortress of the Fortress is one of the words of the Master of Messengers, the like of which no one of the ancients has ever come across (...) he urged me to shorten it in these papers from its mentioned original after I had been asked for years and months about someone who made me forget my estrangement.
