Praise be to God, our beloved, the earthly jurist, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. After we heard what you wrote to us regarding that, we will appoint for you a place for storing hay. No place appeared to us except the new straw. Your friend looked at it with the student Muhammad and found it to be fit. He mentioned to us that he had hired him for two servants to fix what was in it, so he appointed the trustees to finish it for him. And what you mentioned about the portable hay was not in storage, but rather in the prison of (Bitr), and when we heard With the news of the arrival of the prisoners of Rahmanah, we emptied it and repaired it, and perhaps you can stop at it, and the hay that was in it we found was mostly rotten, and the good part of it they took the donkey from before this, and the rest we stopped at and entrusted it to our livestock, and to your love and affection, and peace be upon the 13th of Safar Al-Khair in the year 1281, and from it you will receive the key to the reed, and the summer of high status, in God, my relief.
