The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Talking about the basmalah is a rich sea that has sunk in its first and last depths, so they have extracted from it jewels that put the shining stars to shame (...) The first pearl is in the interpretation of its vocabulary, the second in its parsing, the third in its syntactic meaning, the fourth in the reason for starting with it, the fifth in its ruling, the sixth in its virtue, the seventh in its design, the eighth in the matter of reading it at the beginning of the surah as confirmation or denial, by God. God Almighty, I seek help from (...) the first dura in interpreting its vocabulary. As for the ba, it is a letter that has a meaning. Some of them referred to it by saying: It is counted as a sticky, and we use the spelling of *** and replace companions (...).
The end of the manuscript: The eighth jewel in that it is from the Qur’an in the beginning of the surahs other than Bara’ah. Much disagreement occurred between the imams of the predecessors, jurists and reciters (...) Sheikh Zakaria said in the footnote to Al-Baydawi (...) This is the last thing that can be restricted to the basmala. Praise be to God Almighty and thanks be to Him, and there is no power or strength except with God Almighty. Ah.
