Praise be to God, who made us the life of hearts and a lamp that illuminates all universes. (...) A book of great importance, famous and blessed, and the title is exquisite in style and mastery. Its jewels are arranged in a series of sermons and advice, with the orderliness of the juman in the necklaces of Al-Uqyan. It includes prophetic commandments, chosen wisdom, and Sunni hadiths about the virtues of deeds, the honor of knowledge and its people, and the reward of those who bear the Qur’an (...) and to our master, the pious father, the pure ascetic, the learned scholar, the righteous, the guardian, the pure, and the advisor, Abu Abdullah Sidi Muhammad, who is called the righteous. The end of the manuscript: He said, “The example of a human being is like a man who was driven by fear of an elephant into a well, and the edge of the well grabbed two branches, and he clung to them and hung in the well, and his feet fell on four serpents who had taken their heads out of their stones. He looked at the bottom of the well and saw a great dragon with its mouth gaping (...) Then he said, and this is the picture of the well in the paper that follows this. Font type: Moroccan font.
