Praise be to God alone, our master, and in place of our father, the most glorious jurist, the most happiest pasha, the most guided offspring, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj. May God protect you and take care of you, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God Almighty be upon you in the presence of our master, may God grant him victory. And after, in your knowledge of the case of my companion, the call of the non-Muslim (amputated), and your letter responded, we were insulted by that, as they came to sweep the olives. Accordingly, a flag is sent to us to the supervisor, and we direct it with the determination to meet your call, or to dismiss it. May God bless you. And may your glory and love and peace last for us. On the 4th of Sha`ban in the year 1286, Sheikh Hadd bin Bouazza and Sheikh Hadd Qasim Al-Hamarin, may God bless them.
