Notes	Praise be to God alone, the jewel of the good people and the role model of the noble Arabs, the leader, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj. May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. As for what follows, the men arrested under your hands from the citadel, namely, Sayyid Hadd bin Ali, Al-Arabi Bujand, the son of Sidi Al-Tuhamy bin Al-Murabit, and his companion Al-Dulaimi. Please be kind enough to release them because their goods have been lost due to the large number of livestock, and their children are attached to me from your side. Now, sir, all that. It is obligatory on them from dozens, for I am the one who is arrested in it, and do not pay attention to people’s purposes, and you will receive with its carrier two riyals from them, and acceptance from you is a gift from God, my master, the best of both worlds, and with love and peace on the 15th of Safer Al-Khair in the year 1286 Sheikh Hamani bin Al-Arabi Al-Ami, may God grant him peace.
