The beginning of the manuscript: And from the words of Sheikh (...) Abu Muhammad Sidi Abd al-Rahman al-Majzoub (...) In the name of God, we begin my saying *** In the name of the Generous and the door of amusement. On God my life has been consumed *** And the seal is the Messenger of God. This and what has come to this *** How sweet is the remembrance of the glorified One.
The end of the manuscript: He permits the situation for us *** An agent will come to Sa`qali and he will accompany the effort *** Whoever prevents his companion, the horn will pierce the skin *** In the head he will make a way. And all of this is from the words of Sidi Abd al-Rahman al-Majzoub, may God be pleased with him, and God knows best.
