The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds (...) And after that, when the poem of Sheikh (...) Abu Abdullah Sidi Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Imran, known as Al-Mujaradi Al-Salawi (...) for the sake of the rules of syntax he wrote (...) some of the brothers asked me for a restriction that would benefit him, God willing, whose meaning is ambiguous (...) I responded to him, with God’s grace, to that (...) and I called it the highlight of the syntactic rules of the Mujaradi poem.
The end of the manuscript: Its author said (...) This is the last thing that God Almighty has facilitated in the writing of this restriction, and I have finished transcribing it, the tenth of Jumada Al-Akhira in the year of the last ten hundred years of the Prophet’s Hijra (...) The blessed explanation was completed by the hand of its writer (...) in Jumada Al-Awwal in the year 1288, and he is Abd Rabbuh Uthman Al-Iraqi. (...) And the answer is worthy.
