Praise be to God alone and may God’s blessings be upon our Master Muhammad and his family, our beloved jurist, the good jurist, the hermit, the participating Pasha, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God protect you, and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our master, may God grant him victory. After the two gardens, grapes and olives, we have placed their affairs in the hands of Ibn al-Hajj Ibrahim and al-Susi, may God have mercy on him. We do not allow him to live in poverty and not to turn to others. We are people of peace and rejoice, so we loved you for two things. One of them is your agreement with this man. Because it is one of your deeds, and the second of them is the aforementioned dust of Paradise and its resurrection upon you. May God bless you because it is in fact yours, so whether it is small or large, and I have witnessed in it a lot of peace of mind despite not achieving what one wanted, and love and peace on the 18th of Sha`ban in the year 1288. Abdullah bin Ahmed, may God be kind to him.
