Praise be to God alone, our lover, the earthly friend, the leader, Mr. Muhammad bin Talib. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God support him. Your letter has reached our Lord and his company with the cotton quartet, which my Lord ordered to be sent to his presence, as the cotton work has been delayed. So leave the seed with you until our Lord orders what will be done about it afterward, just as your letter has arrived regarding renting camels to carry the screen and facilitating what you found of the fez and assigning the teachers to make the rest. So our Lord orders you to direct the company of the screen. It was easy from the tarbush to wait for something to be done and peace on the 17th of Raji in the year 1275 Muhammad Al-Saffar, may God grant him success
