Notes
Praise be to God alone, our earthly lover, servant, and leader of our master, al-Murtada, the leader, Hajj Muhammad al-Hamzawi. May peace and God’s mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our master. May God support him. Then the Ayat carried him. Be silent and respond to us, complaining that your sisters, the Ayat Masoud and Ali, missed them with two women from Al-Kada al-Hamra. Accordingly, they must return the people’s women to their tents, and that they refrain from such an act that God displeases the Messenger, and peace be upon him must be 14 years of Hajj. 1278 Idris Al-Sarraj Praise be to God alone, our lover in God, truly united us, our master Idris Al-Ma’ad, may God bless you, and may God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after your letter was received, they remained silent, and my understandings with them collapsed. Those who came to you collapsed. They empowered your friend until they seized their belongings, with God’s power and strength, and this is what we affirm upon you and your love and peace. On the authority of Hammad, on the authority of Muhammad Al-Hamzawi
