Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings be upon our Master Muhammad and his family, the jurist, the best, the best, the most honest, the most beautiful, the noblest pasha, Sir Idris al-Sarraj. Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you, for the best of our Lord, may God grant him victory. Then the most honorable delivered your letter regarding the matter of the horse that ended your matter to our Lord the Caliph, may God support him, Mubarak al-Sharadi, and I ordered the truth of his matter to be explained. I know, the guard of the purified kindergarten, Mr. Idris Ali Maalil, came to me and mentioned that the matter of the horse when he entered the garden. He acquired it after his companions with the permission of Al-Ruqi who was interested in it. Then when the Sharif who had given it to him in the company of his mentors went with his head to our Lord, may God honor him for the bond of conquest, the chamberlain spoke with the aforementioned Sharif about him to the jurist and minister, Sidi al-Tayyib bin Al-Yamani, so he handed it over to him and blessed him for it. These are the words of the aforementioned chamberlain, and that the mentioned Sharif is my great lord who is with you in prison. This is the truth of his matter. The aforementioned chamberlain asked us to inform you of what he mentioned, so work on what comes from you, and this is the companion who directs it. For this reason, he awaits an answer. If you command him to be directed, then he will listen and obey according to what is under my command, and if I hand him over to his owner, then yes, and may peace and service be upon you on the 21st of Hajj in the year 1278, your successor, Mr. Muhammad, may God protect him with his blessings.
