Notes The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God alone. When Sharif al-Munif, the scholar of honorable people and honorable scholars, Mawlana Muhammad ibn Mawlana, Commander of the Faithful, and Nasir al-Din Maulana Ismail, died, may God immortalize his reign. The reason for (...) was that he rose up against his father with a pest and continued to fight him for several years. Then his father defeated him, may God support him. After he arrived in the presence of Meknes, he decided to cut off his hand and foot from opposite sides. He remained after cutting off his hand and foot for about ten days and died, and that was in the year one hundred and eighteen. The end of the manuscript: Peace be upon the Mawlawiyyah from Mamlouk Ihsanha, Muhammad bin Ahmed Al-Masnawi, may God bless him, Amen. What was found was copied in his handwriting. It was authenticated from the booklet of some eminent people despite the misprinting it contained after correcting as much of the distortion as possible. May God grant success to what is correct. Prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad and everyone who is associated with that immorality. Praise be to God, beginning and ending, reverence and veneration. Font type: Moroccan
