Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad and our master Muhammad and his family in the place of our father, the jurist and worker, Sidi Idris al-Sarraj. May the peace and mercy of God be upon you for the goodness of our master. May God support him and grant him victory. Then Hamani al-Saktiwi came back to us at night and said to me: “Tomorrow I will come to you with the dirhams.” When he came to me with a rein in it, what we did not take from him with God’s testimony from him and we collect the provisions, but it became 420 for us, and it remains for us 680, and if that was with him, it would have happened when it was. He goes into the lake and elsewhere, and mentions that his accountant, the presenter, our uncles, and the jurist, the scholar, Sidi Muhammad Laytoun, used to pay us four dirhams every day until now, and we are in dire need of what he has. Thanks to you, direct someone to collect that from him and bring it. As for Alou, he does not approach our space because he dares us, and the neighbors listen, and that does not benefit him. May your love be perfect, and peace be upon the 6th of Jumada al-Awwal in the year 1279. Muhammad, may God be pleased with him
