Notes Praise be to God alone, our beloved, the most beloved, the most glorious jurist, Mr. Allal al-Shami. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you with the presence of our Lord, may God support him. Then, pay to the bearer and the successor of the leader Barik al-Habashi, Shalim bin Zar’, the aforementioned Sidi, and one sheq from which he feeds the animals. And peace be upon you on the 24th of Jumada al-Awwal in the year 1262                     and the servant of Maulana Farji, may God protect him, the trustworthy Sidi Idris al-Sarraj, pay the bearer a wasq.
